OUR
History
The Bunzenthal family bought the Hessischer Hof in 1904 and has since also been managing it. The simple and traditional character of the inn has been preserved to the present day and the Hessischer Hof is well-known for this quality. Since the hotel was added to the inn and the building was fully renovated in 1991, our house is one of the most distinguished hotels in the Wesebergerland.
Starting with the construction of the solarium, no year went by without the addition of new features or renovation works on existing parts of the hotel. Since 1983, Arnold Bunzethal and his kitchen staff have been serving excellent dishes to our guests. Our high standards when it comes to both cooking and accommodation are an ubiquitous quality that you can feel. Nevertheless, the Hessischer Hof has not lost any of its comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
We treat everyone with the same warm hospitality, be it our regulars, local clubs or companies from the area who are having a party at our restaurant. Enjoy a lovely dinner in a great atmosphere with your friends and colleagues, visit us during our seasonal specialty weeks or spend a family vacation at our hotel.
